Is Peptide Therapy Something to Consider?
These changes are common, but that doesn't mean you have to just live with them:

Slower recovery from training or injury

An old injury that won't fully heal

Declining energy, sleep, or mood

Interest in healthy aging support

Want facts, not internet marketing
Questions Patients Ask Before Starting Peptide Therapy
"Isn't this just unregulated research chemicals?"
Some of what's sold online is, which is why I don't recommend buying peptides that way. Peptides like BPC-157 and TB-500 don't currently have FDA approval for these specific uses. I prescribe them as compounded preparations through licensed, regulated pharmacies after a real evaluation, never as an over-the-counter product.
"Is this safe? Will it actually work?"
Most peptides used here have a reassuring safety profile in the available research, though human clinical data is still limited for several of them. I'll tell you plainly which peptides have real published human data and which are supported mostly by lab and animal research, before you start anything.

Cognitive Function, Mood & Sleep Support
These peptides target the brain and nervous system rather than physical recovery. Selank and Semax were originally developed for anxiety and cognitive support and are sometimes combined for a broader effect. DSIP (delta sleep-inducing peptide) is used to support deeper sleep, while Kisspeptin and Oxytocin influence hormone signaling tied to mood and connection.

Longevity & Cellular Health
NAD and glutathione aren't peptides in the strictest sense, but patients often combine them with a peptide protocol for cellular energy and antioxidant support. NAD is involved in how your cells produce energy, and glutathione is one of the body's primary antioxidants, both naturally decline with age.

Signature Peptide Blends
These are provider-formulated combinations that pair several of the peptides above for a specific goal, like recovery, body composition, or skin quality. We'll talk through whether a blend makes sense for you during your consultation, once we've reviewed your labs and goals, we don't default every patient into one.

Sexual Health & Intimacy
PT-141 works on the brain's arousal pathways rather than blood flow directly, which is why it's used for both men and women. HCG is used here to support hormone signaling tied to libido and vitality, often alongside a broader hormone therapy plan.

Growth Hormone Support & Healthy Aging
This category works by encouraging your body's own growth hormone production, rather than introducing synthetic HGH directly. CJC-1295 and Sermorelin are both GHRH analogs with a longer history of human research behind them; Ipamorelin works through a different receptor pathway and is often paired with one of the other two. GHK-Cu and Epithalon are used more for skin and cellular aging support than for growth hormone stimulation itself.

Recovery, Repair & Healing Support
These peptides are used to support the body's natural repair process after training, an injury, or surgery. BPC-157 and TB-500 are the most requested peptides in this category, and both are compounded preparations, meaning they don't currently carry FDA approval for these specific uses (more on what that means under "Is This Treatment Right for You" below). Thymosin Alpha-1 is sometimes added for its immune-supportive role during recovery.

Is Peptide Therapy Right for You?
Is Peptide Therapy Safe for Everyone?
Peptide therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. It's generally not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for patients with active cancer, or certain other conditions we'll screen for during your consultation.
Some peptides discussed here, including BPC-157 and TB-500, are compounded preparations without FDA approval for these uses. Tesamorelin is FDA-approved, but for a different indication. We'll walk through the approval and evidence status of anything you're considering. This page is educational and isn't a substitute for a one-on-one medical evaluation.
